A useful board.
A kinder community.

Citywatch is a resident-created board for local updates, events, recommendations, and neighborhood improvements. Members must be at least 18.

Share what helps

Choose your community, use a clear headline, and share firsthand details. Events need dates, a public venue, and a source link. Disclose business or personal connections behind recommendations. Distinguish opinions from facts.

Respect your neighbors

No harassment, threats, hate, scams, private information, personal accusations, explicit sexual material, graphic violence, or illegal content. Do not identify suspected offenders or publish private home addresses. Only share photos you have the right to publish. Never upload known or suspected child sexual abuse material; report it through the appropriate authorities.

How publishing works

Verify your email before contributing. New contributors’ posts are reviewed. Established members with three approved posts and an account at least seven days old, or members marked trusted by an administrator, can publish posts that pass automated checks. Suspicious content and safety-service failures go to review. Photos are safety checked too. These checks do not verify facts or guarantee that every problem will be detected.

Reporting & appeals

Any verified member can report a problem. Reports from new accounts are available to reviewers but do not automatically hide a post. Three distinct established members can trigger a temporary hold. Reviewers can dismiss coordinated reports, suspend abusive accounts, and record their reasons. Authors can appeal held or removed posts from My posts; decisions appear in notifications.

Keep it fresh

Edit updates when information changes, mark neighborhood issues resolved, or remove your own posts. Edits pass through the same checks. Events expire at their end time; other updates expire after 7, 14, or 30 days.
